You might take a look at this gorgeous terra cotta in downtown Los Angeles and think ‘EASTERN COLUMBIA BUILDING’. You would be close since the Eastern Columbia Building is 0.4 miles away. However, this under-appreciated beauty is the Los Angeles Jewelry Center at 629 S Hill Street. The original name for the building was the Sun Realty Building. The architect is Claud Beelman, who *is* best known for the Eastern Columbia Building, appropriately enough.
